Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon 2017

We work hard during the year, helping plan and be part of the support team that brings the Dubai Marathon together. Providing bespoke medals and some man-power to bring this fantastic event to life!!

Under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, this event is considered as one of the first sporting events on the city’s calendar, occurring this time in early January and taking advantage of the cooler winter temperatures. The Dubai Marathon has become bigger and better each year, attracting many local and global sponsors.

Dubai Marathon 10km Start 2016

Kick off the new year in style by entering the Dubai Marathon, the world’s fastest marathon. The Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon has for the past 16 years been a staple of the UAE sporting calendar. The whopping $250,000 prize fund for the winners of the male and female categories means that many of the world’ s top runners participate each year, while it is also a great event for first-timers given how flat it is.

As always, the start and finish lines for both 10km and 42.5km races are located just opposite Madinat Jumeirah, on the Umm Suqeim Road in the shadow of the iconic Burj Al-Arab. There is also a 4km fun run for which participants will begin their effort on Al Wasl Road, adjacent to the Al Jalila Foundation.
